Tarmac is a cost effective solution to improve the appearance of your driveway, providing a uniform colour surface that is long lasting. It is much cheaper to lay than block paving or concrete and although very durable, can deteriorate like any other surface constantly in use.

As with any other external surface in the UK, tarmac is vulnerable to the effects of the weather. When first laid, it is full of resin and colour. However, over a few years, the elements take their toll and the resins start to dry out, the surface loses colour, surface growth becomes established and the tarmac can crack and break up.

Prior to pressure cleaning, moss, algae and oil stains will be pre-treated. Any repairs that are required will then be carried out. Small holes can be filled with cold lay repair and any cracks can be easily filled using Smartseal crack repair compound. Tarmaseal, tarmac restorer, is then applied. For the best results we would recommend at least coats of this quality sealer. This sealing process waterproofs the surface, replacing the lost resins and restoring the colour once again.
